An inner city based Sydney organisation, established in 1994, which supports the development of new Australian theatre, film, TV & radio scripts. Public readings of new scripts, involving professional actors, are held most Monday nights at the Old Fitzroy Theatre, Woolloomooloo, followed by an informal discussion of the script at the conclusion of the reading. The aim is to provide writers feedback from an audience to aid in the ongoing development of the script. Also includes subscription to a free weekly performing arts newsletter. Site is directed towards writers, directors, actors and those interested in Australian script development. |
