Founded in 1906, the Society of Arts and Crafts of NSW are a group of over ninety craftspeople who maintain two arts and crafts galleries in the historic Rocks area of Sydney. A not-for-profit organisation, their objective is to offer a wide range of unique, high quality Australian handcraft, designed and made by society members. On display are things such as gold and silver jewellery, ceramics, handknits, leather and glass, larger pieces such as wall hangings, art to wear, rugs, handcrafted weaving, prints, leathercraft and art glass, all genuine examples of arts and crafts from Australia. |
